Keynote Speaker Announced
WBC is pleased to announce Tim Boyle, president and CEO of Portland-based Columbia Sportswear Company, as the 2012 keynote speaker. Tim’s career with Columbia Sportswear began in 1971, when the company was expanding and yearly sales had finally reached $1 million. By March 1998, when the company went public, sales had grown to $427 million and surpassed $1 billion in 2004. Tim will talk about his experiences in building a successful company in an ever-changing market. An alumnus of Portland, Oregon's Jesuit High School and the University of Oregon, Tim serves on the Boards of Directors of Northwest Natural Gas Company and Craft Brewers Alliance, Inc.
